Good evening to all.

I have been starting to read the Bible and I am on the Corinthians II. What I have noticed is the difference between how the apostles spoke and how Jesus spoke. I never noticed before that Jesus never really talked about the human side but more the spiritual side. The apostles to me seem to be speaking more to the human side. I just thought this was interesting because I have read the King James version 3 times and have never noticed this before. I am finding reading the Catholic Bible fascinating.

Corey 🙂

Yea, Jesus spoke in parables, which is not something that you see the apostles do much of.

Hi cm,

The letters of the apostles are more down to earth because they were usually responding to specific problems in Christian communities. The Gospels are teaching tools developped by the Christian communities. They are more general in tone.
