I went on the website, closed my eyes, scrolled up and down, placed my finger on the screen, opened my eyes and got St. Therese of Lisieux. The Little Flower! While reading her biography, I saw many things in her life that I can relate to. Perhaps I will read “Story of a Soul.” 😃

In Christ,
Matt

I did this and got St Bernadette. I wondered what she and I could possibly have in common (I did a report once for French class), but then I read her patronages. Perfect!

I am a member of our RCIA team at our parish. I put the names of 100 canonized Saints in a basket and one by one, the 40+ students picked their Saints – or should I say, their Saints picked them.

Veronica is one of the students. As she reached in the basket, she said, “I hope I get St. Veronica.” (Her namesake) In that millisecond, St. Veronica must have heard her. St. Veronica picked Veronica!

Now what are the odds of that happening!

Did you know there is a very very comprehensive list of saints
to “adopt” you at:
www.childrenofmedjugorje.com
It is Sr. Emmanuel’s website. Click, after going through the
introductory pictures, “enter here” Then. “click here for
updated 2006 Saints list”

**My saint was picked for me by a lovely lady named Marianne from one of my Catholic Yahoo groups. She picked one for everyone who asked.

My Saint for 2006 is Saint Thomas Aquinas. Some objects associated with him and some of groups that he is patron to strike a chord with me.

I am glad someone posted this for others to be able to share in.

I saw this and did it with my youth group ( I am a youth minister) and they LOVED it! we meet tomorrow and they will have all researched their saint. Thank you!

St. Clare picked me. I love how devoted she was to the Eucharist!

It’s almost February so my saint and I are missing out on almost a month, but this year, it’s me and St. Clare.

St. Clare, ora pro nobis.

I was surprised that I drew Kateri Tekawitha. She must want me to pray for my grandmother, who was a Native American. There was a conference for her canonization here in Tucson last year. The much needed monsoons arrived on the first day of the conference.

I really like that quote! 🙂

I tried your scroll method and landed on St Peter the Apostle. Who would have thought? Now there’s some powerful intercession 👍

A conference for Bl. Kateri’s canonization, or your grandmother’s?

Blessed Kateri Tekawitha of course. I am so sorry about the grammatical error.
