Have you read “The diary of Saint Faustina, Divine Mercy in my soul”? Has it changed your life after reading?

Yes and yes. I’ll come back later with a little more detail.

Peace

Sister Faustina was beatified on 18 April 1993 and canonized Saint Faustina on 30 April 2000. I purchased her dairy in 1999 in the bookstore at The Basilica of the Shrine of The Immaculate Conception in Washington DC. I devoured the 600 or so pages over three days.

I have said The Chaplet more days than I have not. Most importantly I truly trust in Jesus, and have a great hope; that in my final moments, the grace of His presence will assure that I persevere in the faith.

Jesus I Trust In You!

Peace

Hi Therese,

I have found the Diary to be very inspirational.

What I took away from it is how merciful the Lord is–that we cannot begin to imagine the depth of his Mercy towards us.

I think that it’s very deep spiritual reading. There is so much to take away from reading it–to get out of reading it, in my opinion. 🙂

I have read some of it, but then bought the audio version of the book. The 600 pages was just too intimidating to me.

I still have yet to listen to it.

This was my first Catholic book 🙂 I was really touched by many passages and they helped me through difficult times

It also helped me realize the importance of trust and seeking God’s Will 🙂
