As some of you know, by my other threads, I found my roommate and close friend of 30 years dead on 6/13. I am trying to deal with her death and so many other issues. I am truly laying under my cross instead of carrying it at this point. To add one more thing, I now have a large heel spur and having difficulty getting around.

Please pray for me. He doesn’t seem to be listening to my prayers. I am totally overwhelmed emotionally and physically now too.

I will gladly pray for your intentions and I send you my deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear friend. May her soul rest in peace. May God bless you with comfort and peace and relief from your heel spur.

Memorare

REMEMBER, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thy intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this confidence, I fly to thee, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother; to thee do I come; before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

O Most Blessed Mother, heart of love, heart of mercy, ever listening, caring, consoling, hear our prayer. As your children, we implore your intercession with Jesus your Son. Receive with understanding and compassion the petitions we place before you today, especially to ease Lakotak’s suffering from the loss of a dear friend and to help with those other issues burdening her.

We are comforted in knowing your heart is ever open to those who ask for your prayer. We trust to your gentle care and intercession, those whom we love and who are sick or lonely or hurting. Help all of us, Holy Mother, to bear our burdens in this life until we may share eternal life and peace with God forever.
Amen.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit

Our Dear Friend Lakotak,

I pray that you feel our Lord’s love during this extremely difficult time of your life.

**Prayer for the sick **
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of those who believe in You.
Hear us for Your sick servant Lakotak,
for whom we implore the aid of Your tender mercy,
that being restored to bodily health,
she may give thanks to You in Your Church.
Through Christ our Lord.

Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of all comfort: Deal graciously, we pray thee, with those who mourn, that casting every care on thee, they may know the consolation of thy love, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

:signofcross:

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.
