I was wondering if that was ok to do I don’t think it is because there is a time and a place for that like in church.:highprayer:

I like talking about my faith and reading the bible and I have taken it to work but I have read it in my lunch time alone with no distractions and not causing any attention. So that why I bring this up i have nothing against bible study but everything should be at it’s proper place thats just my suggestion.

But I might be wrong can someone advise me on that one.🤷

I did participate in a Bible study group at my work for about a year before I moved away. We met in a small conference room on our lunch hour. We brought our lunch, said a prayer to begin and end and studied the Gospel of Luke. This was an ecumenical group that happened to include two fallen away Catholics who were attending a non-denom church for the fellowship, a few Baptists, a Methodist and a fellow who did not go to church at all, just relied on his Bible, etc.

We reserved the conference room for the time slot, and sometimes one or two could not make it due to work demands, but overall it was a good thing. We laid a few ground rules about cross talk or criticism. We basically all just read and studied on our own and then shared. No one was allowed to contradict the person sharing or try to sway them off their own opinion, but all did get to share their own ideas and listen to one another.

This was NOT sanctioned by the company and we did not ask for a stamp of approval. Anyone could reserve a room for their own reasons as long as it was on their own time.

This troubles me, like you think study and worship is delegated to only one time of the day, one day of the week. It should never be that at all, and the vast majority of parishioners think just as you do, only bother with it all during that little window, yet in reality it’s something that should be lived throughout the week.

If your employers allow it, and there are others interested, they are improving moral, getting better work out of you, so it behooves them to let you have one.
