Having foot surgery for a bone spur next Friday

Everyone, please continue to pray for me. I am somewhat nervous about the surgery. I am sure my nervousness will only increase as I get closer to time for the surgery to happen.
 
Hi everyone. I can’t sleep. I don’t know if it is nervousness about the surgery or what. All I know is I keep thinking about stuff and I just can’t sleep. I’ve been trying to sleep for over 2 hours now and just can’t get to sleep. 😦
 
Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Well everyone, I am out of the surgery and all is well. The surgery went very well with no problems. Thanks for your prayers.

Amen. I agree. Unfortunately, right now, my foot is hurting where the incision is. Thankfully though, I just took a pain killer so it should quit hurting soon.

I think most people have some amount of pain after any kind of surgery for a short time. In another day or two, you’ll feel great.

This is really off the subject, but when I had my first son, my ob told me that when you’re in the delivery room, the Blessed Mother pulls her blue veil across your face, so you forget what it was like, and come back next year. I said, nope, not me, not this girl…and I wasn’t there a year later! It took 19 months.

Heh, that is kind of a funny story you just posted. 🙂

That said, I figured that some pain was normal after the surgery.
