Environmentalist proposes “baby tax,” financial disabilities for large families
Adelaide, Dec 11, 2007 / 05:04 pm (CNA).- An Australian professor of obstetrics has proposed both a $5,000 “baby levy” to be imposed on parents upon the birth of their children and an annual carbon tax of up to $800 per child, The Advertiser reports.

I am wondering how PETA would react if fellow liberals put out an “birth levy” and and “annual carbon tax” on animals.

Would it not make more sense to simply require people who have more animals or have children to plant trees, bushes, plants on their property to offset the carbon output?

I know in my family we celbrate the birth of a new child by adding plants, scrubs and trees so we can compare how fast the child vs the plants are growing.

Go ahead and worship Gaia until you’re blue in the face (perhaps that’s what happened to the Druids).

Just don’t expect the rest of us to fall into lockstep with your backward ideologies.

And just FYI—the AVERAGE donation to the Republican Party ranges from $20-50. Whereas the AVERAGE donation to the Democrat party (Chinese slush funds included) is more like in the thousands.

What does your blind Bushate syndrome have to do with the original post?
At least the Democrats donate to a charity :).

BTW, do you have any evidence for that?

If he goes to Mass and actually has friends, you do not need to worry. I never had anyone to talk to and when my parents took me to Mass, nothing attracted me and I did not find anyone there interesting.

It seems I only watch YGO because the characters there seem to empathize with me.

Shew! That’s a relief. He does have a few very close friends, plus he is close to his younger brother.

Occasionally, some things I read in your posts remind me of things my son has said to me. There must be some similarities in your personalities.

You seem like a very nice young man who is sincerly seeking to do good in life. I think that there are more people who would find you interesting then you realize.🙂

What charities?

Studies show that church-going individuals give more to charity regardless of their income bracket. And I haven’t heard much about the “Religious Left”…
