Having surgery Friday

Hi everyone

I’ll be having a surgery Friday morning and could really use prayers. I was hospitalized a lot as a kid so I sort of developed a phobia of hospitals and now the idea of being in one again is really stressing me out. Would just like some prayers that everything goes smoothly.

Dear Jesus, Please give Robyn P the calm and courage not to stress out in the hospital, and please help her surgery to go well and for her to quickly recover and return home. In Jesus’ Name I humbly ask this. Amen.

I’ve missed you on CAF-maybe we’ve been posting on different threads.
I’m asking St. Therese to keep you in prayer and hope you notice those little things which point to God, which were always so special to her, during your stay.
May God bless you especially during this time and may you find peace under the mantle of Our Lady.

My dear patron Fathers, who greatly helped me during my surgery and recovery, please pray for this intention.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (Robyn p), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Robyn p). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Robyn p’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Back from hospital. Surgery went well. Though I’m in a lot of pain. Pain meds aren’t doing much. Hopefully can get a stronger dose from doc.

Thanks for the prayers everybody. I really appreciate them. 🙂
