Hawaii Carmel gets new sisters

The Carmel of the Holy Trinity in Hawaii experienced the sudden deaths of a number of professed sisters. Five nuns from the Philippines will be arriving to help renew the convent.

How small is too small for any community or order? Some Benedictines dissolved when they only had 17 members from age 52 - 85 years old.

On the website it said they have to have 6 professed otherwise they cannot advance new members through their vows or make decisions for the community.
