HBO miniseries John Adams

I rented this this past week and just got finished watching all 7 episodes. It was really good imo, although some facts and dates were way off, the acting was very good, I would highly recommend to anyone who like the american revolution period.

His time in France with Ben Franklin was quite good!

As FYI - the mini-series on HBO does NOT match up with the book. The show fudged some dates, etc to make it flow better.

The book is accurate.

Yes, the balloon part is maybe the most memorable part of the film.

I enjoyed the miniseries but the book was so much better. It’s been a while since I watched it but I got the impression they didn’t want to make Adams look too good. The book, on the other hand, really establishes his place among the Founding Fathers.
