I heard Jim Lileks rave about the HBO series The Wire on the Hugh Hewitt show this afternoon. Any of you watch it? I am looking to rent the 1st season; it is now in 4th season.
 
Just saw some of the rave on this show on today’s Wikipedia Home Page – anyone watch this show? Or is it too, well, you know…it is HBO afterall…though i can’t see how it would be worse than say Six Feet Under or something since it is a crime show.

My son who is a police officer loves the show and claims it’s the most realistic police show ever.
I don’t get it
