In the Gospel of Saint John, Chapter 3 states:
But the one who comes from heaven [is above all]. He testifies to what he has seen and heard, but no one accepts his testimony.
Why would “no one accept his testimony”?

They do not accept the testimony because it would imply changing their lives.

:heaven: From the Gospel of Saint John, Chapter 3 Verse 21 states:
But whoever does the truth comes out into the light,
so that what he is doing may plainly appear as done in God.
