1 Cor 11:3-15 speaks of women wearing head coverings. I have spoken to other women whom cover and they do it mostly out of personal conviction and humility. This is something I have been thinking about, and I brought this up with my husband today. He seemed to think that it applied to those living in the early church, and not to us now. Does the Catholic Church have any stand/opinion about this?

Under the former code of canon law women were required to cover their heads. That requirement was removed from the 1983 code. So now it’s a case of personal preference.
