In the Latin Church, the zuchetto and other clerical head-dresses are forbidden from being worn in the presence of the Eucharist.

What’s the custom in the Eastern Churches? I know that the Maronite Patriarch wears a tight black hood – when in presence of the Eucharist, is it taken off? How about other different Eastern Churches?

Or is it a universal custom to have your head bare?

Can anyone suggest some good websites that cover Eastern customs like these in detail?
