One can only hope that EWTN News will take this opportunity to move away from being Catholic Fox toward something truly Catholic.

When the Holy Father went to the Philippines, Fox had live coverage, it was amazing to be able to watch that visit carried live on two different major networks. I guess, I don’t quite get some criticisms.
Fox also has had quite regularly, some panelists who were priests. I’m not sure if that is the case with CNN or MSNBC.
I get the gist of “Catholic Fox” if one is saying that EWTN news and leanings seem to be a bit conservative , however, I’d look at the total picture.

Raymond Arroyo is on Fox News all the time. He even fills in for Laura Ingraham. I’m not sure how it’s surprising that EWTN News and Fox are a bit too chummy.

One can hope but I doubt it… A high proportion of their viewers- and donors- are older rightist Americans who want to receive news slanted to their way of looking at things.One can only hope that EWTN News will take this opportunity to move away from being Catholic Fox toward something truly Catholic.
