I agree entirely with Abp Burke. Failing to deny communion to flagrant abortion supporters gives scandal to others.
 
I wonder what affect this will have on the selection of a VP as several who are alleged to be under consideration are pro-abortion Catholics.

That doesn’t strike me as likely. If he chooses a pro-abortion Catholic, he’ll lose traditional Catholics. Pro-abortion Catholics aren’t going to vote for him anyway, no matter what. So he would gain nothing by naming one as VP.

I am full support of denying pols communion…why mince words… abortion is murder what about those who support pro choice and are not pols or the famous?
