Heading out to EF Mass

I am about to leave for EF Mass. What a wonderful thing to be able to say and just to think that only a few years ago this would not have been possible. Thank you Pope Benedict!

But I’m glad that you are getting the opportunity to attend.
 
I agree that it is a marvelous feeling to know that we can find (in most cases) a TLM within a days drive. Better than before 2007.

And still I find my self being impatient with Bishops that do not authorize fuller celebration of the 1962 Missal. Yes, I know, a priest doesn’t need the Bishops permission, but in case you haven’t discovered this yet, the Bishop still controls his little “kingdom” and Lord help the priest that gets caught crossing up his Bishop.

Yup.
Especially true in the diocese where you regularly attend Mass.
