Healing of my Relationship with my Sister

Hello my Brothers and Sisters in Christ

I will not go into the ugly details.

But my sister (I am one of 8 children) did something (as one friend puts it) “appalling” to me.

She is a hardcore lesbian leftist who is openly proud that she does not believe in God and does not pray.

So we are speaking 2 separate languages.

Anyway, what she did has me terrified.

So to rectify this, I need to physically move to another location.

But I am very sick and she does not believe me.

Please say a prayer that she will only see Jesus in me (St. John Neumann prayer) and that Jesus in me will unwittingly be irresistible to her (a baptized Catholic).

What she did to me, I believe, may very well be exactly WHY I have been unable to get well (the stress) – regardless as to whether my sickness is “the” virus or not.

Also, the worry and anxiety of what she did has made me extremely depressed, scared, lost and most importantly – unable to physically get well.

I am doing my Chaplet for all of your needs in a few minutes and then another rosary and then my emergency novena to St. Teresa of Calcutta.

I am sorry you have to go through this. I have been estranged from my own sister since 2014; many years of disagreements ultimately culminated in breaking ties between our families. She left the Catholic Church as well, and married an abusive man who poisoned her against our family. While I have not faced the same kind of turmoil you are going through, I can definitely sympathize with the pain of losing a sibling. I will absolutely keep you and your sister in my prayers. But if I may, I would also like to offer a few words of advice.
  1. It’s easier said than done, but you must work on not letting other people’s actions destroy your mental and physical health. While it is important to strive to live wholesome lives, and encourage our loved ones to do so, at the end of the day, people are going to make their own choices - choices with which we may not agree. In these situations, we can certainly offer our prayers for them, but we must also remember to not let it chisel away at our own happiness. I hope this isn’t coming off as criticism, because it definitely is not! I just know from personal experience how paralyzing it can be when we allow other people’s actions consume us. And that’s not healthy.
  2. Always think twice before deciding to break ties with someone; I’m not sure if that’s what you meant when you said you would move to a different location. I know I don’t have the specific details, so I can only speak from my own situation, but when it comes to family, don’t let yourself make decisions that are so final. Distancing yourself can be helpful, but pulling away entirely has repercussions that you won’t see until it’s too late. I missed out on my nieces growing up. My own bitterness got in the way of my common sense, and instead of trying to approach my sister in a way she’d be receptive to, I ended up contributing to the hard feelings. And we both pulled away. And it’s still painful. I’ve learned to love and pray for my sister from a distance. Through God, all things are possible, and so we can always hope and pray for reconciliation. So I really encourage you to never lose that hope with your own sibling relationships and to hold onto them for as long as you possibly can. Let your sister know you still love her. You can love her without accepting her lifestyle. And that goes a long way.

I am right now going to begin my Sorrowful Mysteries, Novena for Difficult Times, Emergency Novena to Mother Teresa and Chaplet of Divine Mercy for all your needs.

I am still very sick and scared and believe I have the virus regardless of what the tests show but today I managed to walk about the length of 2 city blocks with my cane.

Please say a little intercessory prayer for a miracle healing of my upper respiratory system tonight.

And for a total and immediate healing of my relationship with my sister.

Sleep with the angels.

She is a hard core lesbian leftist for the past 30 years.

Our parents are elderly and she is now trying to control my life from 2000 miles away.

But I am the one who has lived with my parents for years.

All I want is for our relationship to be healed and for her to love me as I love her and as Jesus does too.

She does not believe in God and boasts about not praying.And so she is very aggressive – trying to get me out of my parents home.

But I am disabled and have nowhere to go and my parents both want and need me here with them. We are all devout Catholics.

My hardcore lesbian leftist sister who does not believe in God will be here in just over 2 weeks from 2000 miles away renting a dumpster to throw my elderly parents belongs away and mine too if I do not move into an apartment.

But they need me and want me here.

I am so afraid of her. I know that sounds wimpish.

Please pray that she know God (she does not believe in God and does not pray) and that she loves me like I do her.
