Heart altar soul?

I cannot find the answer. I have tried several places or searches.

I believe the Holy Bible says that altar is somehow joined to soul.

I believe the soul is our inner altar.

I believe that the inner altar is our soul.

I cannot recall the passage or passages for this.

HELP!!!

Romans 12:1 I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

1 Peter 2:4-5 Come to Him, to that living stone, rejected by men but in God’s sight chosen and precious, and like living stones be yourselves built into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

I can’t think of any verses offhand that specifically mention the “soul” being our altar.

I think that is the connection–altar and stone and heart.

I cannot look now, but I think that is the connection.
