Heart attack

My beloved Donna’s mom had a heart attack this morning back in Newfoundland. She’s in her 80s, and not in great health. I have no further details than that at this moment. D is on her way back from work, it will take almost an hour.

Please pray for her, all the prayers she can get.

Just got word back.

Mrs B is in hospital, but so far prognosis is good, the heart attack was mild. She may have suffered some damage to her hip as she had a hip replacement (#4) which didn’t take, and she may have been injured further when the paramedics were trying to get her down over a very narrow staircase with two landings. We’re waiting for more news, but I think the immediate danger has passed, the Good Lord willin’ and the crick don’t rise. DW is flying to St. John’s tomorrow morn – into a snowstorm with 110 km/h winds. Thou shalt not put the Lord thy God to the test – but Him doing so to you is allowed in His job description, so I trust.

Thank you all for your prayers, and praise and thanks to the Lord and His Holy Mother for intentions granted.

Update: Mrs B is actually back home…there was NO damage to her heart or her hip (according to Mr B, the paramedics “really knew what they were doing”).
Donna is still flying home to be with her for a week.

Thanks to all the pray-ers for the prayers. When I told my dad the news, he said, “See? Prayer works.”👍
