Heath Ledger Dead at 28

It’s so sad that he died. I’m debating if I should see him in Batman this summer. It would seem morbid to watch a man who died in such a way on the big screen.

It just goes to show you that drug abuse is horrible.

There is currently no concrete proof of drug “abuse.” Be careful of early judgement.

I agree. The medication they found in his room were all legal, and they found no evidence whatsoever of any illegal drugs.
My mom said that she thinks he might of suffocated. It seems that he had taken a sleeping pill, and he was found face down on his pillow. It’s a good point I think. My mom took the same sleeping pill once that Heath Leger was on, and I can tell you it was scary. I had to call my brother to help me get her to bed. She literaly blacked out.

I used to take ambien for sleeping problems a while back, and oh my…I agree–I had headaches all day, a metalic taste in my mouth all day afterwards, and you literally felt like you died (not slept) and woke up…I think if he was having breathing problems, he might have choked or couldn’t breathe, and because he was in such a deep sleep, he couldn’t wake up out of it. So sad!

Did anyone see Daniel Day Lewis on the Sag awards when he won best actor? I just about started crying when he dedicated his award to Heath Ledger. He didn’t even know Heath, but he seemd to touched by the death.

I did see that, & also thought it was really nice & touching. I don’t even particularly like Daniel Day Lewis, but I sensed he was being incredibly sincere & was just really troubled by his loss.

I didn’t see the whole show, but does anyone know if they did some type of tribute for him? I saw the segment where they show all of the people who have died in the past year. That always makes me cry & surprises me with people that I didn’t know passed away. They had a very quick picture of Heath Ledger at the end, but nothing else, unless I missed it. They might have thought it was all too recent & painful to do anything more, but I thought it was a shame to not give him more of a tribute.
