I just reread John Paul II’s explanation of Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. We have a local priest who refers to Heaven and Hell as a “state of mind.” Is a state of mind the same as a state of being, as referred to in John Paul II explanation? Does Pope Benedict have anything I can read on the subject?
