Not sure if I got this is right you don’t stay married in heaven not sure if this is good after so many years, it would be like losing a arm. Then your body is reborn mine broken wheelchair user and asthma spinal problems bucked teeth and you don’t eat and drink and no sexy needs(lol I enjoy this ) it’s sounds like it won’t be you be anymore Don’t get me wrong it does not change my belief but heaven does not sound that great I know been with the lord would

There is no need for marriage in heaven as we will not be having sex or having children or having a need for an exclusive relationship. It doesn’t mean we won’t get to see our spouse again if they too make it to heaven.
The good part is that if we were lucky to have more than one nice spouse, or more than one person we loved even if we could only marry one of them for some reason, we’ll get to see them all if they are all in heaven, and there won’t be any issue about needing to choose between them.

What was it like as a child, a young adult, a mature adult, at death? All are different.

1 Cor 13
11 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But, when I became a man, I put away the things of a child. 12 We see now through a glass in a dark manner: but then face to face. Now I know in part: but then I shall know even as I am known.

We will experience a profound shift in perception. Right now our bodies die. There are countless subconscious urges and movements of the body connected to it’s need to survive.

In heaven we no longer die. That reality is a major shift that changes our experience and perception. No urges attached to survival exist in heaven.

‘I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.’ - Romans 8:18

People aren’t changed into something else in Heaven. Who they are is perfected.

After Jesus arose in His glorified body, He ate food. Every description of heaven talks of banquets.

Heaven is not sitting on a cloud playing a harp.

You may want to read starting with “A Travel Guide To Heaven”. Then move to Dr Kreeft “Heaven”

1 Corinthians 2:9

"But as it is written ‘What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him.’ "
