This is a bad example, because if the adult son refuses and he ends up getting kicked out he can always just get a house or apartment and continue on with the orgy parties.

God doesnt just leave you out of Heaven to continue doing your thing. Rather, you are sent to a place of burning, torture, despair, and being an outlet.for demons to release their hate. In order for your analogy to make sense, the son would have to be executed if he did not wish to stop with his orgies. As immoral as the practice is, threatening such a person like this amounts to slavery.
It’s an analogy, and no analogy is perfect.

But to improve it some, let’s assume that being put out of the house means starvation and suffering for the son. Even so, if he refuses to abide, he will be thrown out. You can’t have the home defiled, and also risk having the others in the home to become defiled, by his refusal to obey.

The analogy isn’t perfect, but it does sum up my point. Their supposed obedience in all the other commandments is worthless if they blatantly refuse to abide by one or more other commandments. Christianity is a package deal.
