I’m spinning into a hellish depression. I can’t start my new non-drug therapy until they end of May. (I don’t want to discuss the nature of the treatment or to receive any advice.) Please just pray for me. I’m barely hanging on.

I’m about to pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I will pray for you. Stay strong.

For the sake of his Sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world!

Praying to St. Dymphna for your health & recovery. Remember; God loves you. God bless.

I, too, will be praying the Divine Mercy chaplet at the 3 o clock hour and will be praying for you.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer to Our Lady of Mental Peace

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon njlisa in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.
Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,
saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,
troubles and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:
Jesus, help me!
When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good
come from my efforts:
Jesus, help me!
When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:
Jesus, help me!
When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and
I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-
comings of every kind:
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, help me and never forsake me!

Amen

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal njlisa. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into njlisa’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

I’ve been thinking about you, njlisa. I’m sorry to hear your suffering. I will commend you to God tonight at the First Friday mass during communion. Hang in there.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known that any one who fled to thy protection,
implored thy help or sought thy intercession,
was left unaided.
Inspired with this confidence,
I fly unto thee,
O Virgin of virgins my Mother;
to thee do I come,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful;
O Mother of thy Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy clemency hear and answer me.
Amen

Hail Mary, full of grace,
The Lord is with Thee;
Blessed art thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Father,
who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I admire you for your faith because someone would want advice and talk about their problems but you simply ask for prayers. Hang in there, i will pray for you the rosary:)

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

You who are always ready and prepared to pray fro others, will certainly be remembered in my prayer. Love you.
Clare

Rest assured that I mention the CAF prayer community when I pray my daily rosary. Thank you for your support.

For the sake of His sorrowful passion have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Oh Jesus forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell. Lead all those to hea
ven, especially those in most need of your mercy.
Father let your light break through the darkness and shine brightly in her soul.
Remind her to surround herself w Christian praise music. You can’t be happy and sad at the same time. Chose happy.
He who the Son sets free is free indeed. Be free.
Exalt yourself in His love.
in Christs love

Yes, Lisa, you offer some beautiful prayers for others. Here is one that I prayed for you, from the People’s Prayer Book:

Prayer to Suffer in Union with Jesus

Dear Jesus,
for love of you
I desire to suffer all things,
because for love of me
you endured such cruel torments,
O my Jesus,
I unite my pains with the ones which you suffered
to your eternal Father.
O my Jesus,
out of the abundance of your divine goodness
give me the virtues of meekness and patience,
so that I may willingly carry my cross after you.

Oh,God Bless you and keep you in his care Njlisa,so sorry to hear of your suffering. You are in my prayers. Jeanne

10 years ago when my father passed away and a lot of other nasty things were happening, I also slid into one. However, as I happen to be a health nut and leave no stone unturned to try to help myself I stumbled upon something that was incredibly helpful - GABA! Gamma amino butyric acid is used to treat anxiety. This was a Godsend, literally and figuratively. I can’t praise enough what it did for me, almost immediately. Some people online said it worked when anti-depressants didn’t. Hope you feel better soon…

Praying for you njlisa. Depression is hellish.
Praying you will pray, pray, pray. I always ask God to heal my broken spirit. I hope you will also pray for him to heal you.
Praying that you will find peace until your new treatment begins.

**Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.

O My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of Hell and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy.
Amen.**
