Hello Duality

The undifferentiated Oneness seems to differentiate itself into things through a fundamental dualistic orientation: separation and unification of itself. In order for things to be differentiated from the whole they must become separated, yet they must also be parts of the whole so that they have something to be differentiated from, like figure and ground. As Logos divides, so Spirit unites, and both testify of the One behind them.

Ah, yes, the One, the Logos, the Spirit. I see now.
 
The Trinity is the source of all things. I imagine it as an eternal, timeless potential from which all things spring into temporal existence by differentiation. Father is the undifferentiated, primordial state of all things, beyond space and time; Son is the potential for differentiation of these things from this undifferentiated oneness; and Holy Spirit is the potential for unification of differentiated things with the undifferentiated oneness. This is the Duality in the context of the Trinity. When the Trinity goes into action, differentiation of things begins - we might say their existence begins - as well as space and time, in which the differentiation occurs.

The video I posted at the beginning shows various manifestations of the fundamental duality through which the Father differentiates the world of space and time.

God has no potential.
 
God is fully actual and has no potential.

This is the philosophy forum, is it not?
Saying that God is fully actual may or may not be meaningful. I do not believe we can know anything about God unless he reveals it to us. I have never asked him about his potential or his actuality.

Potential happiness, lacks happiness,

In physics the word potential is used differently than in your example. Potential energy is not a lack of energy, it is simply stored energy. Like a battery holding a real charge of one kilowatt hour, the battery actually has that energy, it does not lack that energy…

People often state that omnipotence means that god is doing everything, which would mean that god would simply be all energies. Omnipotence must be his potential in order that pantheism be avoided.

Omnipotence means all powerful, so god must also have the power to do nothing…
 
God’s active nature means that whatever God is, God is that always and completely.

Having potential is a lesser condition. When I am tired, I am potentially rested and strong, but am not actively rested and strong. I am not “always and completely” any of my attributes, but God is. He is thus completely active.

By the way, with regards to the OP: I have no idea what’s going on in this thread. 🤷
