My company relocated from NYC to Winston-Salem, NC. My family is with me, my wife Ellie and 4 children, we are Catholics and were taken back a little by the orans and holding hands during the Our Father (thought I was at an AA meeting
. So I found this site and it answered my question beautifully. Nothing wrong with it but it is not part of Catholic liturgy. But I did notice that everything else is just about the same. During Holy Communion I am home for sure. The look in the peoples eyes are from prayers and faith. That I am sure of, but no orans or holding hands during the Lords Prayer for us. But we love ⦠and understand someone trying to do something a little special, but thats what the Bishops are for.
