Hello from Iraq Need help!

I hope that all of you are doing well

I am currently working in Fallujah Iraq as a contract linguist with the US Military.
To be honest things are much quieter in Fallujah then they are in Baghdad, The people who really suffer here are the locals.
Which in some areas don’t even have running water or electrcecity.
I always pray for our troops and for the Iraqis.

I have a question regarding a dream.
now this might sound like a silly story but, I would like to know your thoughts and what the church says about dreams of this nature, heres the story.

I know a girl in Denmark who I have only talked to ONLINE and have never met in person. Me and this girl are just good friends nothing else, I might flirt here and there but nothing seroiuis.
This girl had a dream about an old lady that she knew, this lady died 4 years ago. Now I never even heard of seen or met this lady.
this is the first time my friend even mentions this person.

So my friend has a dream, and in her dream she sees this old lady
who has been dead for 4 years now, and in the dream the old lady tells her, I talked to JOEY (ME) and he told me to tell you that he likes you alot.
and thats it

Now my question is this, unless am dead, how am i gonna talk to a dead person who i dont even know ?
is this something or is this in anyway a message to me ?

Also, I suspect dream interpretation is like fortune telling, against the church teachings.

Communications claiming to be from the dead are inherently, and very, suspicious. Be careful. This doesn’t mean your friend has done anything wrong, either. But you are in a vulnerable situation right now, one the prince of lies would love to capitalize upon.

My advice: stick to the emails, cut out the middle-woman, and recommend prayer in that regard.

It seems to me like she is making up this dream story to see whether you really like her or not. lol Why would she say that a dead old lady she knows talked to you and that you said you liked her??? And she already knows that there’s no way that you could have talked to the old woman.

Me thinks she doesn’t have a very strong imagination and this is all she could come up with to try and see if you like her.

I could be wrong but I doubt it.

I agree with others that trying to find a hidden meaning to a dream where a dead woman says she talked to you is best left alone.

Hi Joseph!

The dream that this girl describes doesn’t sound evil, but rather, a product of her own desires concerning you. However, being its the internet and all, you do have to be careful.

Dreams are often influenced by our daily activities in life, but in particular, our emotional desires. This girl may be having hopeful desires about you, and this is what’s influencing her dreams.

At any rate, you shouldn’t attempt to contact the old woman, for she’s merely a product of a dream, and not necessarily real.

One thing to be careful of however, is that soldiers can often get suckered by con-artist, who know, that soldiers away from home, are in an emotional vulnerable state, especially when it comes to intimacy.

I served in the Marines, 1970-72. I saw guys get scammed.

dream interpretation is, within limits obviously, is ok! Joseph did it in the Bible didn’t he!? so it can’t be the work of the devil. You should be careful about these emails, so many times people aren’t who they say there are and I would hate to see anyone get taken advantage of!
