Its common in Sikh and Muslim areas of India and Pakistan, they also eat Balut in Philippines.

I never said it was in the US, but I guess it could be. I don’t remember where it was. I wish I could find the article.

I did go to veterinary school; what I was referring to was the occasional fertilized egg that gets through to the supermarket. Sorry if I wasn’t entirely clear about that.

If you object to this, then you should be vegetarian. Most people here believe that abortion is murder. But, it definitely isn’t any more murder than eating regular meat.

Murdering a human being is the same as killing an animal for food?? Very PETA-like statement.
 
Sorry to take it off topic, but I once had someone completly ballistic on a forum at me because I supported seal cub hunting, but was pro-life. Like they got banned for it for it no less.

My statement wasn’t clear. I meant that if you think it is wrong to eat aborted animals, you shouldn’t be eating animals at all.

If you object to this, then you should be vegetarian. Most people here believe that abortion is murder. But, it definitely isn’t any more murder than kinlling a full grown human. So, if you have a problem with eating aborted animals, you shouldn’t eat animals at all.

I’m not sure I get this. It seems to be the polar opposite of the op.

Which works for me. Baby seals are a plague, a nightmare, a cause of great social evil.😃

Sorry I annoyed you with my story, Strawberry Jam. It was just an explanation of how I came into contact with a sheep fetus.
 
I’m not a member of PETA, but the fundamental problem with your premise is that in the case of an abortion pregnancy might be very straining to the woman, to the point where they might say it’s more important to attend to the needs of the woman than the fetus.

Since PETA doesn’t believe that human beings need meat, they might not consider someone’s desire for meat important enough to kill a sheep fetus, but they would consider a woman’s desire to say, continue going to school, enough to kill the human fetus.

You did not annoy me, you were simply not forthright in giving full disclosure to everyone reading the thread. That was my objection.

Thank you for giving us more information, it really helps us to see the hypocrisy of Islam, yet it does not help us with more than that.
