Hi,
My name is John McMahon, and I’m new to this site. I have become more interested in apologetics lately, and am trying to build on the solid foundation I got in college (Christendom College class of '92). I’ll probably be watching more than posting for a while.
I have been fairly active on another site called Debating Christianity and Religion:
debatingchristianity.com/forum/index.php
It might as well be called “Ridiculing Christianity and Religion.” This is a hardball, no-holds-barred sort of forum, and I seem to be the only orthodox Catholic who posts there. The atheists, agnostics, and liberal Protestants pretty much run the show, and anyone with the temerity to disagree with them should be prepared for a verbal mauling. I certainly don’t want to take anyone away from this forum, but if you’re interested in a real challenge, have a thick skin, and want to put the admonition to “love your enemies” into practice, please come on over! I’d like to emphasize that last point–make sure you enter this site with love in your heart, or you may do more harm than good.
