I asked him to give me an answer as to how the Church is lying to us all, and here is his response:

'The catholic church bases his faith on a revengeful and punishing god. That watches the human beings to judge them after death. Or even send floods from time to time if he’s having a bad century. The entire imagery behind it is a suffering man bleeding on a cross horribly tortured. To reinforce the fear of such horrible punishment. Except worse because you will only suffer. without the relief of death! With fire and demons and darkness for all eternity and so on… and that will be the faith of … a thief or a killer for example… (Let’s leave out of it for a moment that They put there gay people, prostitutes, women who abort, cheating fathers, and whatever it is now days that you guys consider sinful.)
And why do you think such a structure of hearth/heaven/hell scenario?
Because that is how the society that they wanted to create is. With a judge that follows a law created by a government and punishes with prison or death for what’s considered a bad sin (or crime call it what you want). Or simply a fine for whatever amount is considered appropriate and so on. I guess you know the rules. Even the imagery of God with the Archangels then the angels then the prophets the saints then this then that…. It is to show a power structure. A pyramid no less. With God on top of course. Once again they claim that that’s how it is in heaven so it has to be on hearth. So the president, the government, the judges, the police…
And bear in mind that this goes for any religion. Mono or polytheistic it doesn’t matter. The Power structure is in all of them.
Now I’m not saying necessarily that Moses was a bad man… and you can believe that he went on a mountain where god gave him his “laws” or you can consider that he was a fairly wise political leader that decided a few rules for his people to behave a little better and claim that god did it so they would believe him. ???bless them!!) And of course for people to behave you have to scare them with the fear of punishment. And so we go. If god was to come back today he would have to update the rules… don’t you think?
Shouldn’t he put a rule on the use of fuel for example? Do you think he’s happy that we suck something out of the earth to poison his creation.
But the church (hand in hand with governments) updates the rules for him… in his name. And decides on abortion… homosexuality… and so on. But doesn’t say a word about what God might think about petrol that is making some people so much money. But new sins are born. According to society. To back up what the rulers like or don’t.
Now let me inspire you with some thinking for a moment. You believe God is watching the actions of a thief that one night commits a murder and waits for him to die to punish him. Can you consider for a minute that God knows he was an innocent child once. But he had a tough life. And then he was abused. And grew angry. And then eventually hungry. Like his family. And ended up stealing. Maybe drinking. Maybe taking drugs. Raping… killing. You name it. Do you think God loves him any less??
Don’t you see that those people are the ones that God loves the most??? Because they are lost. And in need of even more love then the others.
But if that was our belief then we would have to stop killers from killing and take care of them. Show them the love that they were never given. Support them.
Do we want to do it? No. If someone steals your car you want him in prison. Suffering. If someone kills your brother you want him dead.
MAN CREATED GOD IN THEIR IMAGE.
To support the creation of the society we live in and control the masses.
God is inside of everybody. One just needs to know how to look.
The churches indoctrinate the masses using fear and telling them to look for answers in an epic book open to almost any interpretation and lost in translation, confusing them.
Instead of teaching them how to go inside of them selves and find all the answers there. Feel God within.
Because they fear how powerful we would become once we knew that we are all one. And one with God. Already. Right here and now in this life.
In that world there would be no need for rules.
And that means no rulers.
And rulers don’t want that.
I hope to inspire some thinking.
I appreciate feedback. ’

…What should I reply?

“I will pray for you” is all you can say in reply to such an emotionally charged rant. He’s very angry and wants to blame God and Christianity for all the woes in the world. It’s a defeatist attitude that allows the ranter to bear no responsibility for the world’s troubles, including those he could do something about. In a word, it’s a cop out. He’s to be pitied not answered.
