Have you tried any breathing techniques? “square breathing” is a popular tool to regain some control during an anxiety attack. Also, a “mantra” to slowly repeat in your mind can be helpful, too…you could use a favorite prayer or psalm, or anything that brings you comfort. These could both maybe, in some abstract way, be considered a part of eastern mysticism or some such thing, but I think you’d be in the clear. (someone else here could probably better advise to that).
This is all stuff from a lay perspective, of course…I am no therapist. I did, however, have a spate of anxiety attacks about ten years ago, and did go on medication for a couple months. However, mine was more related to a difficult situation, which helped as far as 'light at the end of the tunnel". I know it must be particularly frustrating for you, since your conscience tells you everything is right in your life, yet, the attacks continue. Give yourself plenty of down-time, if you need it.
But this breathing technique and repeating “something good” did really seem to get me through the worst of it. Hope this helps, and will pray for you.
