Help! Anyone have Father's Day gift ideas?

DH wanted a rain jacket, but I couldn’t find one. So he’s getting three short-sleeved shirts. He’ll get the jacket later. His birthday is next month.

His dad cuts up and eats an apple every night after dinner. For as long as I can remember, he’s been using one of those little sharp knives with the brightly colored plastic handle - costs about a dollar. I got him a very high-quality paring knife with a 4 inch blade and a gift box of fruit from Harry and David.

That’s all the Dads I have now.

I’m giving my dad a dvd copy of “The Robe”, which is about a Roman soldier who crucified Christ, and his conversion story. Great guy flick. I’m also cooking a special meal for him since I happen to be visiting.
 
I already posted about the t-shirt tradition for father’s day, but I also took the kids shopping.

Xander picked a glass for beer (don’t know what they are called :confused: ) With the Sharks logo on it. Dh doesn’t drink beer, but Xander spent about 25 minutes in the sport store picking it out, so I know he’ll love it.

Kaylin got him a tool from Target. Some kind of screwdriver combo thing.

Kyle got him a set of mini baseball helmets - all the teams. (Xander and Kaylin picked it, but they said it was so Daddy could help Kyle learn about sports too.)

I also picked him up a bag of jordan almonds. I think those things are nasty, but he loves him. That’s a double present from me, cuz usually if I buy him candy I’m the one that ends up eating it!:o

So, no big gifts here, but the kids had a ball shopping for Dad!
