I am looking for a book, or several books, that is/are well-written and directed specifically to answer at least some or all of the many common objections that Protestants have about the Catholic faith.
Objections like:
*]The Immaculate Conception
*]The assumption of Mary
*]Mary as a mediator
*]Purgatory
*]Intercession of the saints / praying to them
*]Apostolic succession
*]Infallibility fo the Pope on matters of faith
*]Catholic Church as the one true church
And arguments for Protestantism, such as:
*]Sola fide
*]Sola scriptura
There are many articles here, and I’ve been searching for them and creating pdfs of them, however, it would be great if there was a book specifically to address the objections of Protestants. I’ve looked on EWTNrc.com, Ignatius Press, and Catholic.com in the books section, and maybe I’m just missing it, or not realizing the book is for that because of the title, so maybe someone can point me to one, or three?
I have several apologetic books, but most of these are addressing the faith as a whole, against atheism and agnosticism, not simply those who believe in Jesus and have much in common with us (Protestants).
Thanks.
PS: There is “The Protestant’s Dilemma”, however, this book is geared towards those who are discerning becoming Catholic, not those who are specifically anti-Catholic (someone who was Catholic, and left the faith). That’s more of what I’m looking for. (Or maybe this book is for the anti-Catholic?)
PSS: The person who I am looking to have a dialogue with is extremely knowledgeable about the Bible…
