people with ADD tend to be classroom averse, but I might at some point.

I like making polls or surveys, so I know how to do that anyways.

I still am curious about the # thing since I started on the puzzle… I’m sure Joe will be back to explain it. And I’m not aure about the “suggestions” aspect he mentioned.

We will wait for Joe.
He will help us out.
I ll keep trying as well.

This text will be blurred
Trying Blur spoiler …but I forgot where I found it…
Ok. It is where the flower is,where the poll is found too.

Just make sure you don’t accidentally hit the delete all Catholic answers forums self-destruct button.

Ooooopppps!!! You are a genius!

#casual discussion
@jamalchristophr
Yeahhhhbhhhh!

#apologetics
If you notice, your apologetics tag is bold whereas the casual discussion is not. It becomes bold when it is working as a hyperlink. So you can actually click on it and it will take you to the Apologetics category.

The reason the Casual Discussion tag did not work is because you need to replace the spaces with dashes. So it would be #casual-discussion.

If you want to do a subcategory of one of the major categories, you have to do the main category first, followed by a colon, and then the subcategory. So #apologetics:moral-theology.

Maybe it varies depending on the device or your internet browser, but for me, when I type an @ or a #, a box pops up. You have to not type anything after the symbol or else the box quickly goes away. The box isn’t necessary. You can always type it in. It’s just meant to help you move more quickly.

This is a fun little trick, but not one you are likely to use a whole lot. If someone is new to CAF and wondering where to post a topic, it might help them along.

Does that help?

A lot!
It is super clear now.
Thanks ,Joe!
Thanks so much for your time and the trouble to answer!

No problem. I know how frustrating it can be to not know what does what. That’s mainly what motivates me to keep looking around until I figure it out. 🙂

Honestly, the transition here has been a lot like moving houses. When I first got here, there were lots of things in boxes and I didn’t know where anything was. But as I am becoming more familiar with the options and their place, it’s starting to feel like “home” again. 😊
