HELP:Do Catholics believe in the tripartite division of the law of Moses?

I’ve read that the law of Moses was Broken up into three parts: Ceremonial, Civil, and Moral. Also that the Ceremonial and Civil were abolished when Christ died on the Cross. Is this something that Catholics believe to be true?

Yay! Thank you guys so much! I’m trying to explain to someone who thinks, that all the laws of Moses were abolished and that the Leviticus laws on homosexuality were also abolished, that they in fact do still apply
 
The Moral part of the law of Moses still applies to the new covenant?

Maybe I’m skimming a bit too quickly, but… where in those articles of the Summa do you see Thomas talking about the “tripartite division” or the “abolition of the Mosaic Law”?

More to the point: where do you see there being an abolition of civil or ceremonial law with Jesus?

The Leviticus laws do not apply. The Church basis for forbidding things now is based on New Testament interpretations, not on the stuff in Leviticus.
The Ten Commandments still apply and that is the only Mosaic law that still applies to Catholics afaik.
