Help! Do you know this Christmas hymn?

Hello everyone,

I’ve been searching for a particular Christmas hymn that the choir at my church growing up used to sing for the midnight mass on Christmas Eve. But all I can remember is the haunting tune and the first line! I’ve searched google and many other websites, and browsed through countless pages of hymns, but have found nothing! If anyone recognizes this one little bit of lyrics and the notes, and can tell me the name of the song, I’d be so grateful! It is my mother’s, my sister’s, and my favorite Christmas hymn, and I’d like so much to find it for them for Christmas.
