A young lady at Church just found out she’s expecting her first child. Her husband is Active Duty and she was asking me if I knew who the patron saint of military children is. I have searched online and found several for soldiers and even specific units. I have found a few suggestions for patron saints of military wives. I can not find a patron for military children though. Is there anyone here that knows of any?

The patron saint of military and children is Saint Michael the Archangel.

Wikipedia.org type in the Saint name and where it says “patronage” is what they are the patron of.

Look up Saint Joseph as an example

Slayer of dragons as they say… and patron saint of England

St. George is a great one! He was one of my favorites growing up. I have a small statue on my altar at home. I’ve also thought about St. Barbara and St. Joan of Arc. Military kids have a hard life. I guess the more saints they have praying for them the better!
