Help finding a song

[seagal]

I heard this beautiful Marian song somewhere and have been looking for the lyrics for a while now. I finally found this video on youtube
youtube.com/watch?v=wQS0YhVfAE0

The refrain is simple enough, the first part of the Ave Maria, but the lyrics they’re singing here are in Spanish. If anyone knows this song in English, could you please post the lyrics? Thanks and blessings.

I can’t go to utube…'cause of filters and firewalls.

Can you name the song please

I **think **this is it…

Ave Maria
Gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Maria, gratia plena
Ave, ave dominus
Dominus tecum
Benedicta tu in mulieribus
Et benedictus
Et benedictus fructus ventris
Ventris tuae, Jesus.
Ave Maria

Ave Maria
Mater Dei
Ora pro nobis peccatoribus
Ora pro nobis
Ora, ora pro nobis peccatoribus
Nunc et in hora mortis
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Et in hora mortis nostrae
Ave Maria

Original Music by Franz Schubert

The hymn in English is called “As I Kneel Before You”

"As I kneel before you,
as I bow my head in prayer,
take this day,
make it yours,
and fill me with your love.

Ave Maria! Gratia plena. Dominus tecum, benedicta tu.

All I have I give you,
Every dream and wish are yours,
Mother of Christ,
Mother of mine,
present them to my Lord.

Ave Maria! Gratia plena. Dominus tecum, benedicta tu."

I think there are other verses - at least one more, but I can’t think of them off hand. I’ll post them if I find them.

It’s the Hail Mary .

The refrain for the song I’m looking for is
“Ave Maria, gratia plena
Dominus tecum
Benedicta tu”

But it’s not Schubert or Bach or any other classical version of the Ave Maria. It’s more of a folk tune. As far as I know, the title is “Ave Maria Gratia Plena”, which doesn’t help to narrow a search at all

Last verse is:

"As I kneel before you,
and I see your smiling face,
every thought, every word
is lost in your embrace.

Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum, benedicta tu."

The composer is Maria Parkinson.

No problem - thanks for the flowers! Quite a nice hymn, popular enough here in Ireland - but I get my fill of it playing it hundreds of times at a huge novena each year in February, so I tend not to go near it for the rest of the year!

I know how tired you can get singing a song over and over again, even if it’s a favourite. For me though it’s brand new . Thanks again.

Yupp. That’s it. Our choir used to sing it.
