Job was the only saint I saw that dealt with depression.
On that note, I have a small question:
Since the Book of Job is generally regarded as a wisdom tale (appropriately placed between the Historical and Wisdom books), is there full confidence to be had that Job was an actual person? If not, what justifies our praying to him? I’m not saying I don’t trust the Church (and wouldn’t be opposed to offering a petition to him therefore), but I was just wondering how these issues can be dealt with. The same goes for Saint George the Dragon-Slayer and others who have dubious records (though they might have been real people whose lives were simply laden with tall tales).
