I just found out my husband has been drinking, again. Please pray for us, that he will regain focus on what really matters (his kids/family). I’m praying, too. If we can’t fix this, I will have to leave with the kids. 😦

Lord have mercy.
Venerable Matthew Talbot who overcame years of drinking to become so saintly that your cause for canonization is in process, please pray for this man’s recovery and sobriety and for his family’s highest welfare.

Thank You Lord,
thank you Matthew

O Holy Family of Nazareth, please take care of them. Keep them under your care. Dear Lord, give the family the graces they need most at this trying time.

Jesus, King of Mercy. We trust in You!

We take refuge under thy protection, holy Mother of God;
do not despise our prayers in time of necessity,
but always free us from all dangers, O blessed and glorious Virgin. Amen.

Holy Mother Mary please hear our prayers for this family. Grant their intentions and grant them peace

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Praying for your husband to stop drinking and for your family …

Heavenly Father,
you have given us the model of life
in the Holy Family of Nazareth.
Help this family, O Loving Father,
to make their family another Nazareth
where love, peace and joy reign.
May it be deeply contemplative,
intensely eucharistic,
revived with joy.

Help them to stay together in joy
and sorrow in family prayer.
Teach them to see Jesus in the members of their families,
especially in their distressing disguise.
May the eucharistic heart of Jesus
make their hearts humble like his
and help them to carry out their family duties
in a holy way.
May they love one another
as God loves each one of them,
more and more each day,
and forgive each other’s faults
as you forgive their sins.
Help them, O Loving Father,
to take whatever you give
and give whatever you take with a big smile.

Immaculate Heart of Mary,
cause of our joy, pray for us.

St. Joseph, pray for us.

Holy Guardian Angels,
be always with us,
guide and protect us.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Heavenly Father, you want to restore Wannabcathmom’s husband and make him whole again. Please help him to be properly disposed and open to receive your help with his drinking problem so his family won’t have to separate from him. You love Wannancathmom’s husband with a tender love and want him to honor and love you. He can’t do this properly with alchohol in his life. Please help him to seek you and find you in this time of trial. May he put you and his family above his love of alcohol and reject this destructive habit he has fallen prey to. Give him insight into his problem and the strength to say No!. Please give strength and courage not only to him, but to his wife and his children. Help this family to conquer this problem without great loss on their part. Please make it possible for them to stay together. Help Wannabcathmom’s husband to recoginize his problem and to seek help. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
