Currently I must say that Satin spends far more time with me than God does. I used to think that those with psycological issues and mental disorders just needed to use discipline or pray more. Now that i have devrloped some issues I see I was wrong. God promises peace for those who ask. I just don’t feel it. I assure you that this world is full of suffering people who have made errors, had losses, etc yet I can’t say that God comforts them.

Google all the pills sold for anxiety and depression. Its a HUGE market! Many of these people are quite religious. The Bible seems to offer great hope yet I don’t see anything substantial and lasting in my life or others.

dear friend, i love you and hope you get to heaven.
I’m the lowest and have sinned a LOT, but I have repented and excepted the forgiveness of Jesus (that was the hardest part for me) and I truly tell you that I am comforted.
God loves you, stop sinning. Go to confession and sin no more. Its your intentions that matter, if you fall again go back to confession, and repeat. Be a noble knight, a good pure man.

I pray that you can find Peace of Christ that he is offering you.

Well, the word of God cannot be wrong. It is a matter of getting it right in our lives. Saints, like Francis of Assisi, left everything behind and yet find happiness and contentment in God.

Mental disorder is a disease and like all diseases are, it needs treatment, medical or otherwise.

Religious people need not fare better that you or I, or that they are holier. It is just that in all their humanities, they try to seek God. The result only time will tell or for them to know or experience.

However, for us on the outside we want to see result, proof and sign of what giving one’s life to God brings. If anything, it is to remind us how powerful an external changes can be for the purpose of evangelization. Yet, it is not always that way because all being created equal, the difference would be how do we approach our own weaknesses and difficulties. Would God be the ultimate answer for us or would it be done without Him?

Thanks to all who answered. I am thinking about Philippians 4: 6-7 whichv advocstes prayer and promises peace to guard our hearts and minds.

I just don’t understand how so many people can be really hurting but no relief is given. People are asking as God implored but nothing is being reveived in many cases.
