Help, I’m cursed

My mother in law passed in February, I recently discovered my mother in law to have a amulet of the “Santa Muerte” …she told me her grandmother was a witch, ect but didn’t practice what she was taught. She told me she hated church growing up. She gave me her Diamond, I don’t know it’s origin and she had it put in a wedding ring made for me. I’ve had many awful things happen to me recently and I need help. I believe in God and if I’m supposed to go through hardships so be it, but is there something else I can do? Things feel more demonic everyday and I have signs of attack. I need help. Please someone reach out to me. I have the prayer of Saint Michael the Archangel as my screensaver on my phone. I pray it and others daily. I feel like it’s something stronger than me, I’m not great at praying and am a weak Catholic, I know God has dominion over all, but at what point do I need an exorcism? Someone please help me.

No weapon formed against you can prosper if you are living in friendship with God, receiving the Sacraments. Talk to your priest for reassurance.

That’s my problem, I had been living in acquaintance with God, not friendship. I have been praying and studying more than ever before but I need to work on it more. Thank you for reaching out. I will try harder.
 
Thank you for your prayer. I will add this prayer to my daily prayers. I feel more at ease praying it, I know I have to strengthen my relationship with God and I know only he can get me through this. I appreciate you posting this for me.
 
I hope things have progressed positively so far; I would personally say that the more you think of it as demonic, the more it will be. The devil takes any and all opportunities, so if you give him credit for anything, he’ll take it. Thus, maybe to further your friendship with God, thank Him for little things around you, and thank Him for the bad things because He uses all things for good. It sounds hokey and cheesy, but it’s humbling and takes away attention from the devil. And, sometimes? Life has rough patches that last for a while. I can promise you it’s for greater glory later, even if it’s much later, but don’t give up (:

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful, and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.
