Thank you for taking time to write me and Yes I have come to the same conclusion about focusing on what is Good and thanking God for the struggles. I will fear no more, I know God is with me. I trust he will use all the bad and transform it into good. I do thank him for these struggles and for the knowledge of what had been going on in my new family. I hope I can use it to change things for the better if God so wishes that from me. Amen.

Please meditate on this excerpt from St. Thérèse’s memoir
“Story of a Soul.” She explains an early childhood dream that
shows demons fear Christians in a state of grace more than
we fear them.
“I was walking alone in the garden when suddenly
I saw two horrible little devils near the arbor, dancing
on a barrel of lime with amazing agility, in spite of
having heavy irons on their feet. They looked at me
with flaming eyes, then, as if overcome by fear, threw
themselves in the twinkling of an eye to the bottom
of the barrel.”

I wish I could be in a state of Grace, but I’m sad, angry, tired. I try to be more at peace and pray to go to make me an instrument of peace, but I can’t help but be an instrument of rage. I will pray more on what you have sent me. Thank you.
