Hello I’m a young teenager and I’m seeking help from fellow Catholics on the embarrassing topic of masterbation. I started a while back and I just cannot stop. After praying and asking Christ to forgive me and give me an opportunity to go to reconciliation I was granted one. I went and reconciled and I felt great afterwards because I was forgiven, but a week or so later there I was masterbating yet again and I’m sick and tired of it I’m afraid that soon Jesus will be tried if forgiving me although I know that is silly because he loves when we lean on him and ask for his help and forgiveness. I guess I’m just asking for some advice how to stop what I should do and maybe could you all put in a little prayer for me and all the other people that are addicted to this horrible degrading thing. Thank you and God bless.

You are a child, we cannot discuss topics like this with you. Please speak with your priest and your father

Your priest and father are where to seek help. Adults cannot and should not discuss topics like this with children not their own.

@Sunburst , you are a young teenager and you are not weird in any way . Many Catholic teenagers have the same trouble as you are having . You are by no means alone .

Jesus never gets fed up of forgiving you .

Keep going to the Sacrament of Reconciliation , Confession .

And God never stops loving you , so start copying him by loving yourself .

There are two articles here which may help you .

God bless you , and cheer up . 😄

Jesus does not tire of forgiving you. Every time you sin, make an act of perfect contrition (see below), and go to confession ASAP.

How to Obtain Perfect Contrition Liturgy and Sacraments
When you commit a mortal sin, the only way to be returned to grace prior confession is to have perfect contrition. This is taken from St. Louis de Montfort, and paraphrased and expanded from other sources. Think of Jesus hanging on the cross. Struggling to breath. Everyone around Him mocking Him. Covered in blood and in agonizing pain. Submerged in mental anguish and humiliation. Know that you have done this to Him, your God, your greatest benefactor. The One who gave you life and keeps …
