It’s part of the altarpiece at Annunciation of the Lord parish in Decatur, Alabama.
So, rather than being a traditional icon, it seems to be that they asked an iconographer to take a traditional pose and add in the bread, in reference to I Am The Bread of Life, the Eucharist, and so on-- since it’s standing directly behind the altar.
So it’s custom art, in an iconographic style.
Not that I’ve read any articles about it— but that’s how it strikes me.
