Help, Im not sure what I did in this situation is right or wrong

Hi guys, I had a predicament today where my fellow classmates graded my homework incorrectly and I knew it. I tried to remember all my wrongs and correct them myself. I ran out of time though and I needed to turn it in. is what I did wrong? What should I do to correct this?

Did I cheat? I have all A’s and I don’t think I earned it if I keep thinking this
 
If you had to turn it in anyway, the teacher is going to collect and see this assignment anyway. So presumably, the teacher will check for any errors. I can’t imagine a teacher would let students grade each other without checking afterwards, otherwise just grade your friends easier.

If you are still thinking about it you could talk with the teacher but I’d be shocked if the teacher doesn’t double check the assignment anyway for possible mistakes because if it’s students grading each other, mistakes are a likely outcome.
 
I would say talk to your teacher. Things like this have happened to me so many times-my physics teacher always grades my tests wrong

By the way, what you did wasn’t wrong, but it would be wrong if you didn’t fix the issue

I don’t completely understand what went on, but if it bothers you talk to the teacher. As a(former, and possibly future?) teacher I can say that when students approached me about grades that were higher than they should be I often thanked them for their honesty and left it with the higher grade.
 
It sounds like what happened is that your classmates did not mark all your incorrect answers so it looked like you did better than you really did.

Then you tried to correct your errors so their action would not be noticed by the teacher.

Your teacher may see that this happened.

While I realize you have all As and want to maintain that, do you want to do that at the expense of truth?

I would go to my teacher and explain what happened.

A lot of teachers will not count a low grade into the average if it is unusual for the student, and I think the teacher will understand your desire to protect your friends.

So I would discuss this with the teacher.
