I wish to translate the word “Sacred Music” and the phrase “All Sacred Music in Sacred Language (Latin) that have been used in Holy Catholic Mass” into Latin. Can anyone help me please ? Thank you very much.

Anthony

All Sacred Music in Sacred Language (Latin) that have been used in Holy Catholic Mass

Omnis Musica Sacra in Lingua Sacra (Latina) quae usae sunt in Sancto Catholica Missa.

Not sure about the “quae” and “usae sunt”…I will get back to you, as I did that translation off the top of my head.

Anthony – It would help to know what context you’re planning to use these phrases in. Are they titles to be placed on bookcases, for example, or are they to be parts of full sentences, or something else?

Refining (and presuming it is to be a book-type title, hence the *de – I’m also not sure utor is the best verb):

De omni Musica Sacra in Lingua Sacra (Latina) quae sumpta est in Sancta Catholica Missa

(* So I have selected *sumo *instead, which primarily means “take” but has many figurative meanings, including “make use of” :twocents: )

hi everyone, sorry I forgot to tell you about the context. I have just collected many Sacred Music that have been used in many Holy Catholic Masses in the world. All of them are in Latin. And I wish to share this collection to everyone in Youtube and Facebook. This is the context that I am planning to use these phrases in. Thanks for notifying me.

Thanks everyone who translated for me. Would you please confirm for me which one of these translations is most suitable for my context ?
Omnis Musica Sacra in Lingua Sacra (Latina) quae usae sunt in Sancto Catholica Missa.
or
De omni Musica Sacra in Lingua Sacra (Latina) quae sumpta est in Sancta Catholica Missa
Also, I wish to know if the word “Sacred Music” means Musica Sacra in Latin ? Sorry I am only a beginner of Latin.

by the way, would you please also translate this sentence to Latin for me ? I plan to use it as my first comment in my collection.
Everytime I listen to these Sacred Music, I feel I am in the Heaven, not on the earth any more.
Thank you very much for your help.
