Is all Saints day (today) a Holy Day of Obligation?

Not every country has the same holy days, it is in the United States. But, I can’t tell you where else it is.

Looking at your location you say you’re in Canada. I think I remember hearing that only Christmas and Mary Mother of God are Holy days of Obligation there.

Yep, but it probably wouldn’t hurt the OP to go if they can.

For most people on this forum, yes.

If you are an Eastern Catholic, no.

If you are outside of the United States, it might not be.

It is a Holy Day of Obligation for Latin Rite Catholics in the United States and in many other countries.

No it is not. The OP is in Canada.
Joe - go to Mass to honour all the saints, known and unkonwn, if you can…but it is no sin if you do not.
For dioceses in the US it is a day of obligation.

The thing is I’m looking at my Parish Website and I see no All Saints day mass 😥

That’s very odd that there wouldn’t be Mass for such an important feast…but you’re fine. If you’re in Canada it is not a day of obligation.

Holy Days of Obligation are set by Canon Law (1246)

In some countries or dioceses, the Bishops may choose to suppress the day or transfer the day to the following Sunday (1246 section 2)

If there’s no Holy Day Mass then it’s likely the day was transferred.

Call your church and ask, or look on your diocesan website as it can actually vary by diocese.

Edited to add, I actually had a situation a few months back where the Bishop did NOT move the day (some other US bishops did, he didn’t) but whoever put the bulletin together forgot to list the holy day Masses. The Church was flooded with calls, including mine.

That’s ok, go to Mass anyway. It would be nice to remember all the Saints in your life and what they mean to you. God Bless.🦋

Yes, but there is also no point in panicking a 16 year old who may not be able to get to Mass easily. On a later post he says there is none offered.

The only mass for a weekday is at 9am. I can’t find any other mass time. Even under events for this week it doesn’t mention all Saints day

Just look on your diocesan website.
If you are in Canada then there is a 99.9 percent chance they will commemorate it next Sunday and you don’t have to go to Mass today.

I went on my Parish website. The diocesan website is not loading any results

Well I B DARN… Learn something new everyday. Holy Days of Obligation is not UNIVERSAL…
