My elderly mother needs to buy a falling alert device. There are so many different kinds of services, we just don’t know which way to go.

Does anyone in the USA, have any experience/recommendation on what do get? If it matters, she lives in the metro Detroit, MI area.

She has a brochure from Philips Lifeline. She also has one from Greatcall, which is endorsed by John Walsh.

I tried searching online for customer reviews, but I couldn’t find anything. The only thing I found was websites that do their own reviews and they weren’t very helpful.

I would discuss this with her Dr. Likewise there are senior service which might be another resource for you.

You might try asking your mother’s local EMT’s and paramedics.
